GP's Postal Only Area (Postal penfriends and penpals from all over the world)

Traditionally if you joined a postal penpal club you would fill out a membership form along with a penpal membership fee and then a couple of weeks later you would receive a list of penpals by snailmail. I know this because - this was the Global Penfriends way also.

The traditional penpal list is fantastic - but there are a few things that could be improved.
1) The delay in receiving a list (minimum 2 weeks).
2) You know nothing about the penpals you are going to receive in your list.
3) Expense associated with sending introductory letters to penpals on your list.
4) Often penpals on the list already have too many penpals.

These problems above are a thing of the past - Global Penfriends has developed the perfect penpalling tool - Follow the steps below and starts writing to your penpals within minutes.

STEP 1

Get an email address (e.g. admin@penfriends.com.au) so we can communicate with you. This email address will only be used as a means for Global Penfriends to communicate with you. No penpals or members of our club will ever see this address.

STEP 2

You must create a penpal profile. This profile will take about 5 minutes to create but is time well used. The profile will then be reviewed by a Global Penfriend profile administrator and will be either approved, declined or deleted. We only accept genuine profiles. Profiles that are short or half hearted are declined immediately. Any profiles that look like spammers or scammers including those searching for mail order brides, visa sponsorship or money are deleted from the system.

Once your profile is approved you can start finding your penpals and penpals can start finding you! Login to your profile and use the search forms to find your penpals.

Searching for penpals is an easy and fun process at Global Penfriends. There are many search options. Make sure you make use of the advanced search options if you are having trouble finding your penpals.

There are two ways you can contact penpals on the site - both methods require a membership fee. If you cannot afford the membership fee you can always wait for someone on the site to contact you. To upgrade your account just click one of the upgrade links.

1) Internal messaging. (Requires Premium Membership)
2) Get Postal Address. (Requires Snailmail Contacts)

When searching for penpals on our site you will see the preview profile page which looks something like this:

So as you can see above there are two ways to contact penpals. You can either send an internal message to them (the message will be sent to that users inbox on the Global Penfriends website). Alternatively if the prospective penpal, has registered their postal address in their profile, you may click on the "Get Postal Address" link and that users address will be added to your snailmail list.
